2024
This year, no fancy newsletter, just a few pictures and links to our adventures in 2024. We did document our trips online and we invite you to have a look (just click on the links).
We had a couple of trips to Konstanz (Germany) during the year. Archeologisches Museum, village pallafites, Konstanzer Münster and its Krypta.
René skied many days in Les Marécottes. We took a few hikes, and I had a few moutain bike outings.
We took a few trips in Switzerland, particularly a nice one to Salgesch.
Many different activities with the granddaughters (Vanessa’s mostly).
René is still active in the sailing club Ichtus.ch.
Canal du Midi in May
Our first longer trip: We drove with friends to Avignon and then boarded a river boat in Homps. We visited Carcassonne from the boat and drove back to the Millau Bridge (we visited the old town as well) and through the Gorges du Tarn.

René sailed in August North of Germany. It was a very nice cruise on a 37 foot sailboat.

Nos aventures en 2022 – Our adventures in 2022
- R. did a fair amount of skiing in the winter, he also went
- sailing in the Canary Island (see the February log book), then we both went
- sailing in Guadeloupe (April-May 2022) and we visited Guadeloupe by car
We drove to Romania, and back 😉 (May-June, see our blog).
In July, R. did a sailing race in Brittany, see the blog,
and Ta went back to Romania,
and finally, in November, a full week in Paris for Ta’s Birthday, Christmas and more
(see the blog).
In-between, we took care of our youngest granddaughters (Vanessa’s daughters). R. went sailing a few times on Lake Geneva and took care of the boats of Ichtus and we took a number of trips in Switzerland.
Now, we await new snow to go to our cabin.
